I haven't done anything on here for a while but that doesn't mean I haven't done anything at all.
I have a few pieces I haven't shared anywhere yet and I've moved as well as am in the midst of building a house.
All that is to say...blah blah blah...excuses.

Here's to hoping something sticks.

Ok, I've been able to put some time into doing some more stuff. Mostly experimenting with Watercolors which I'm fascinated with. I should have an update in the next few days.

I know it's been a long time and I doubt anyone actually reads this thing but I have grown tired of seeing the same post when I log in, so...

Seems my job that was supposed to be part time and give me more time to work on making maps and doing artistic things has grown to be all consuming. I guess it's a statement that my coding skills are in demand enough that they want me as much as I can give them. It's also allowed me to take care of some needed remodeling on the old home. The last couple months I've been filling in for my boss who's been out on vacation so as soon as he gets back I'm hoping that I will be able to get those couple days a week back for myself.

I honestly started off with good intentions about pursuing more art but all the little bits of life that reach out and snatch your time away have been having a heyday. 

Anyway, I promise to post some stuff as soon as I have something to post. What little I have been able to do is not free to share yet so we'll have to wait on that.

Where oh where does the time go...

I keep thinking everything will chill out more now that I'm gearing back to part time consulting but..

I've been busy blowing out the cobwebs of my software dev skills and taking care of a zillion other things that I had been putting off for far too long.

On the bright side, I'm able to get a bit more art done if only in spurts. I can't wait until I'm up to speed with my new part time career and able to focus more on making art.

Well, sold my small business and now work part time as a consultant.

The goal here is to allow me to also be a part time artist which would be more time than I've had lately for art.

I just hope it all works out!
